I have a nikon D50 kept in shelf for almost 3 years and never used it since I already have another camera. Only recently I decided to unpack the box and did what i should do few years back, which is to clean it up and send it for service. So finally it got its shutter replaced and the grip as well. And last weekend I brought this lovely camera outside for some actions, together with a nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIS lens. This camera is actually more than enough for normal usage, of course it has technical limitation which most people wouldn’t understand or care about – including me : ). So if you’re looking for a camera, any entry level cameras will do perfectly fine, dont get dragged down into mega pixel or fps comparison. Just like Chase Jarvis said, the best camera is the one that’s with you.
